Driver/Nursing Transport

Safely transport the residents to the prescribed locations; to maintain a professional manner at all times during transport and while in contact with the community; to cooperate with the Supervisor to maintain transport schedules in a timely manner; to maintain the cleanliness and function of the transport vehicle. Does related work as required.

Valet

Perform various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring or the personal needs and comfort of residents under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, while maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Administer quality bedside care and related services to residents and manages all designated personnel, supplies, and equipment in an assigned unit under the supervision of nursing management.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Administer quality nursing care to residents, assess residents’ health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. A RN also assists in the direction and supervision of other nursing personnel and helps promotes a positive physical and psychosocial environment amongst residents and staff.

RN Unit Manager

Responsible to see that the unit is operating within the regulation set forth by State and Federal agencies as well as the policies and procedures of the Facility. Nursing assessment skills, clinical expertise and leadership skills are essential for success. The position will interact successfully with residents, family, medical professionals, staff and consultants.

RN Supervisor

Provide supervision to nursing staff and professional nursing care to residents as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with nursing practices standards and registered nurse scope of practice.

Quality Assurance Nurse (RN)

Assure that resident care practices and outcomes as well as professional performance at the facility are regularly, thoroughly, and proficiently reviewed and evaluated with a plan of action developed as indicated to ensure that quality care is provided to all residents.

Staff Development Director

Develop and present an orientation course to all new employees and an on-going education program for all personnel at the Facility by means of lectures, demonstrations, classroom instruction and observation of varied work performance. An important aspect of the work is the practical guidance and training provided to employees while setting an example on the clinical area. Work is reviewed through meetings, observation, period reports and review of results achieved.

RNAC

Classify residents into levels of care for reimbursement purposes. The incumbent coordinates all disciplines to complete the tasks within the regulatory time frame.To assure completion of the State/Federal required MDS within the appropriate time frames to organize and conduct the Resident Care Conferences. To assist the individual nursing units in the use of the MDS through group and individual teaching and training. To assure the MDS is complete and accurate.

Assistant Director of Nursing

Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. In the absence of the Director of Nursing Services, you charged with carrying out the resident care policies established by this facility. This position is available to all qualified individuals regardless of age, gender or race.

Director of Nursing (DON)

Responsible for management of the nursing service department and for the direction and supervision of all nursing service functions and activities. Responsible for the quality of resident care and ensures that sufficient and properly prepared personnel carry out the functions of nursing service. Is knowledgeable of social, economical and legal issues affecting the health care systems and seeks all opportunities for keeping staff up-to-date in health care practices. Develops, directs the implementation and ensures compliance of standard of nursing practice that promotes optimum health care delivery.
