Receptionist - Outpatient

Responsible for providing clerical and phone support to the Erie Outpatient Clinic. Duties include, arriving and scheduling clinic clients, phone coverage, data entry in the EMR and general clerical duties.

Therapist - Outpatient

Responsible for facilitating brief, individual and group behavioral therapy for individuals with mental illness and their families, as appropriate. Therapists will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including complementary medicine approaches, and will specialize in areas as determined through consultation with the Clinical Director. Therapists will meet productivity and caseload management standards for both individual and group therapy as established by the co-directors. Therapists are also responsible for conducting thorough initial and ongoing assessments to identify each client's need, to develop a client-centered treatment plan, and to identify and facilitate access to internal and external services that may further benefit each client.

CRNP

Responsible for providing psychiatric treatment services to individuals enrolled in the Erie Outpatient Clinic who are diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: conducting physical exams and psychiatric evaluations as indicated, assisting with medication management through use of protocols mutually developed with a physician and in accordance with organizational practices and policies, and providing case consultation and other services throughout the organization as needed.

Outpatient Manager

Responsible for joint clinical and administrative oversight of Erie Outpatient (EOP) services, with close collaboration with the Director of Treatment Services. The incumbent acts as the Designee of the Director in their absence. The incumbent is responsible for directing, monitoring and assisting in the daily operation of the outpatient clinic, which includes but is not limited to the following: supervision of clinical therapy staff and support staff, regular contact and/or consultation with physicians, physician extenders and nursing staff, management of internal processes, and leadership in developing therapeutic programming and efficient operational systems. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assistance with budget development and monitoring, establishing and sustaining productive community ties and provider relationships, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations and troubleshooting any problematic issues that arise throughout the course of each day. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain a focus on mental health recovery approaches through leadership by example, coaching and the development of programmatic systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration.

Nurse RN - Outpatient

Responsible for assessing client physical and mental health needs, planning of any medical interventions that might be needed for inclusion in the treatment plan, health education, advocacy, medication monitoring and the overall surveillance and maintenance of the health needs of staff and clients. The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate medication storage/security, including up-to-date MAR and up-to-date written and verbal record keeping, as well as communication with other staff regarding clients' medical conditions and medication needs.

Nurse LPN - Outpatient

Provides recovery oriented treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients enrolled in the ACT program. This position is responsible for assessing the physical and mental health needs of each program participant in conjunction with the Lead ACT RN and psychiatrist, which includes planning medical interventions for inclusion in the treatment plan, providing health education, making appropriate referrals to community physicians and maintaining regular contact with the provider pharmacy. The incumbent is also responsible for management of the medication monitoring service which includes maintaining appropriate medication inventory, storage, and security systems; ensuring that all MARs are accurate and up-to-date;, and maintaining up-to-date written and verbal record keeping. Communication with other program staff regarding the client's’ medical conditions and medication needs is also critical. The LPN, along with every member of the ACT team, must adhere to the fidelity standards, DPW regulations, and the policies and procedures established by the organization.

Psychiatrist - Outpatient

Responsible for the delivery of contracted psychiatric services including psychiatric intakes, assessments and evaluations, treatment and medication monitoring, and disposition of inmates within the correctional system. Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and acts as a liaison with other medical disciplines. Ensures that psychiatric treatment services are delivered in a timely, effective, and cost efficient manner.

Outpatient Senior Director

Responsible for the management and integration of the programs within the Treatment Division which include: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), the Erie, Forensic and Meadville mental health outpatient clinics and Prison programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: supervision and mentoring of program directors and supervisors; monitoring internal systems to ensure continuity of care, clinical cohesion and collaboration, communication and information sharing, implementation of best practices, and overall quality of care. The incumbent collaborates regularly with the Administrative Director of Rehabilitation Services and Administrative Director of Residential Services and Executive Leadership Teams.
