Description

Responsible for facilitating brief, individual and group behavioral therapy for individuals with mental illness and their families, as appropriate. Therapists will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including complementary medicine approaches, and will specialize in areas as determined through consultation with the Clinical Director. Therapists will meet productivity and caseload management standards for both individual and group therapy as established by the co-directors. Therapists are also responsible for conducting thorough initial and ongoing assessments to identify each client's need, to develop a client-centered treatment plan, and to identify and facilitate access to internal and external services that may further benefit each client.

Tasks

  • Uses recovery principles and best practices to help clients select effective treatment strategies.
  • Masters diverse therapies including Art, Tapping, DBT, Trauma Release, and alternative medicines.
  • Meets 75% productivity standard, billing 5.5 hours daily from a 7.5-hour workday.
  • Maintains accurate, timely documentation and manages referrals, discharges, and no-shows.
  • Consults clinical team; coordinates resources and referrals; builds strong provider and family ties.
  • Keeps licensure current through continuing education and pursues new therapeutic specializations.
  • Actively participates in team meetings, contributing to planning and clinical discussions.

Qualifications / Education

  • Master's level degree in psychology, counseling or a related field and a minimum of two years of supervised clinical work experience
  • Licensure preferred
