Nutrition Aide/Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

Support the health and nutrition of families in our community. This position involves screening and enrolling applicants into the WIC Program, delivering essential nutrition education, and distributing program benefits to eligible families. Additionally, you will champion breastfeeding support by offering valuable information and encouragement to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers within the WIC Program.

Competent Paraprofessional Authority (CPPA)

Determine WIC Program eligibility for low-risk families. Complete hematological testing, assess anthropometrical measurements, nutritional assessment, and assign nutrition risk codes. Prepare and implement participant nutrition education plans.

Competent Professional Authority (CPA)

Determine WIC Program eligibility. Complete hematological testing, assess anthropometrical measurements, nutritional assessment, and assign nutrition risk codes. Prepare and implement participant nutrition education plans.

Women, Infants and Children Program Director

The WIC Director is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all services provided by the WIC Program.
