Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, while maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Accountable for basic resident care including organizing and distributing routine medications under the direction of the Director of Wellness.

Perform nursing practices and routines in the absence of a registered nurse (RN) and under the supervision of a physician, Director of Nursing Services, or RN, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. A LPN assists in the supervision of Nursing Assistants and promotes a positive physical and psychosocial environment amongst residents and staff.

Responsible for assisting Wellness Coordinator and Manager with planning, implementing and supervising resident care. Communicate to Manager or Wellness Coordinator any problems which may require discipline. Schedule resident aides as appropriate, assign and delegate responsibilities to staff under supervision of Manager Ensure each resident receives treatments, medications and diet as prescribed, in accordance with federal and state regulations and facility policies, procedures and support plans.

Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and physical management of the facility, residents, and equipment in such a manner that the purpose of the facility will be established and maintained in accordance with established policies.
