Machinist
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of hob cutting, shaping gear cutting machines, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Welder
Responsible to use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Required to weld in the GMAW (MIG) , FCAW (Flux-Core) and SMAW (Stick) welding processes along with the ability to Carbon Arc Gouge and use an Oxy-Fuel Cutting Torch. Also required to read a tape measure and accurately lay out jobs for correct measurements, so fabrication skills are needed. Basic hand tools required will consist of an assortment of wrenches, hammers, grinders, tape measure, combo square, etc along with Welding apparel (Welding Shield ).
Mechanic
Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing mechanical, electrical, air systems and hydraulic components while having the ability to utilize all facets of their technical background to support the majority of components on the customer’s equipment. Mechanics are expected to provide above industry standard quality and customer service.
CNC Programmer
Write programs, set up, edit, machine, and inspect all machined parts and repairs.
Drafter
Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.
Inspector
Inspect, test, sort, and sample machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
Shop Supervisor
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Production Manager
Responsible for managing and directing production activities at the specific business unit. Coordinates the production of goods, ensures machines are repaired and running smoothly, and manages workers on the production floor.
