Description
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Tasks
- Direct and coordinate activities of employees involved in production, such as welders and fabricators.
- Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Plan work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Monitor work and gauges to ensure operators conform to production or processing standards.
Qualifications / Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing and/or repair environment
