Description
Performs supervisory duties as necessary, including oversight of and scheduling of all assembly employees and jobs.
Tasks
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and effective work environment / Safe Clean Organize (SCO)
- Must be able to keep all scheduled workflow on time and complete in the most cost-effective manner
- Responsible for overall on-time project completion
- Communicate daily with progress updates on job completions
- Review, evaluate and report any unsafe work environments as well as equipment related issues
- Responsible for scheduling of all Assembly employees and equipment in order to meet the deadlines for completion of all jobs
- Determine and communicate personnel needs for all aspects of the Assembly department
- Work with the Engineering Department or Manufacturing Manager to resolve issues related to production of equipment and improvement of product cost and functionality
- Responsible for performance evaluations, determining training needs, and any disciplinary issues
- All other duties as required
Qualifications / Education
- Analytical and mechanical aptitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal)
- Leadership Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
