Assembly Supervisor

Description

Performs supervisory duties as necessary, including oversight of and scheduling of all assembly employees and jobs.

Tasks

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and effective work environment / Safe Clean Organize (SCO)
  • Must be able to keep all scheduled workflow on time and complete in the most cost-effective manner
  • Responsible for overall on-time project completion
  • Communicate daily with progress updates on job completions
  • Review, evaluate and report any unsafe work environments as well as equipment related issues
  • Responsible for scheduling of all Assembly employees and equipment in order to meet the deadlines for completion of all jobs
  • Determine and communicate personnel needs for all aspects of the Assembly department
  • Work with the Engineering Department or Manufacturing Manager to resolve issues related to production of equipment and improvement of product cost and functionality
  • Responsible for performance evaluations, determining training needs, and any disciplinary issues
  • All other duties as required

Qualifications / Education

  • Analytical and mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal)
  • Leadership Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
