Description

Responsible for developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the agency while maintaining compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Provides strategic leadership by articulating human resources needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors. This position is directly responsible for leading the director and indirectly responsible for all employees within the division.

Tasks

  • Working as a member of a team including, being supportive and friendly to co-workers, keeping personal problems away from work, splitting duties equally amongst co-workers, assisting co-workers when requested and welcoming new employees giving them extra support and encouragement.
  • Direct supervision and management of the daily functions of the department.
  • Creates, develops, and launches new programs and services related to departmental and agency goals.
  • Creates short-term and long-range plans to execute the mission of the agency.
  • Provides overall guidance and direction for the complete alignment of the department across the affiliation.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a business-related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in human resources management level position required.
  • SHRM certification preferred.
