Description

Overseeing, organizing, directing, and doing lead work on maintenance projects, repairs, and housekeeping for all regions assigned. Overseeing, directing, and doing lead work on various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed. Ensures cleanliness of all facilities. Ensures agency compliance with Joint Commission standards. Ensures the work is conducted in a safe and professional manner by performing the following duties.

Tasks

  • Direct supervision and management of the daily functions of the department.
  • Doing lead work on projects and repairs as directed. Will work independently in a steady and productive manner.
  • Routine repair, construction, upkeep and maintenance of the facility buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment which may require carpentry, plumbing, electrical or mechanical skills.
  • Drafts and implements routine maintenance schedules and standards; ensures compliance with these standards.
  • Participation in agency maintenance on-call. Responding to emergency calls after hours and on weekends when requested.

Qualifications / Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience or training required
