Description

Driven to lead our manufacturing operations and drive strategic growth. The role will encompass overseeing all aspects of manufacturing technologies, including machining, fabrication, material sourcing, and operational improvements.

Tasks

  • Customer Base Growth: Continuously expand and enhance the current and prospective customer base through effective strategies and relationship management. 
  • Financial Performance: Ensure efficient operations to meet target margins and profitability goals. 
  • Manufacturing Operations: Oversee machining and fabrication processes, leveraging both in-house capabilities and external sourcing as necessary. 
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. 
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication channels within the manufacturing team and across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration. 
  • Shop Utilization: Strategically maximize shop floor utilization and capacity planning to optimize production output and resource allocation. 
  • Facility Management: Oversee upkeep and maintenance of manufacturing facilities, including machine maintenance and ensuring adequate raw material inventory and controls. 
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in manufacturing technologies to support business growth objectives. 

Qualifications / Education

  • Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within a similar industry, with a strong background in machining, fabrication, and component manufacturing. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. 
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders. 
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, margins, and cost control measures effectively. 
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges. 
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, technologies, and trends in manufacturing.
