Description
Performs electrical and/or mechanical assignments from machine specifications to a finished design. This includes using schematics, BOM’s, layouts, and software.
Tasks
- Implement, start up, and debug software programs on-site and off-site.
- Troubleshoot communication networks like Ethernet IP and Remote I/O.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Assist mechanical team with panel, lighting, and system layout planning.
- Collaborate with mechanical group to develop sequence of operations.
Qualifications / Education
- Vocational / Technical Program certificate or degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field and 2 years’ experience in related field is preferred.
- Software packages for Allen Bradley Factory Talk View Studio (Compact Logix, Micrologix)
- Siemens TIA Portal (a Plus)
- Delta RMC Tools (a Plus)
- Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Travel: 1-2 weeks per month (on occasion, Domestic and Foreign)
