Description

Under the direction of the Automation Program Manager, provide installation, programming, troubleshooting, and customer training in support of Gasbarre’s automation program.

Tasks

  • Build customer relationships to understand needs and define project requirements.
  • Interpret needs, gather specs, and develop accurate cost estimates with stakeholders.
  • Create clear, detailed quotes and scopes of work (SOW) for customer projects.
  • Support sales via onsite visits, demos, and new technology presentations.
  • Manage active automation projects to ensure goals and timelines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, contacts, and project data in databases.
  • Monitor project costs and timelines, suggesting improvements when needed.

Qualifications / Education

  • High energy and organized individual
  • Strong  interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of powder compaction markets/applications a plus
  • Willing to travel out of local area up to 25%
  • Prior experience in automation and related disciplines
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Climb ladders
  • Mechanical ability/hand tools/cutting & fab work
  • Experience-general knowledge w/control systems (prefer Allen-Bradley)
  • Prior automation experience
  • Valid driver’s license
