Description

Responsible for overseeing all internal aspects of the press and automation team. This role ensures that customer service, project management, customer communication, and the assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical disciplines are executed efficiently and effectively. The Operations Manager will drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction within the department.

Tasks

  • Lead and mentor press/automation team across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical roles.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and give constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs and implement development programs.
  • Ensure excellent customer service through strong communication and support.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or automation environment.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
