Description
Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, support sales, customer service, and manufacturing by providing technical support and expertise at all stages of product life cycle. This is a “hands-on” position.
Tasks
- Assemble, setup and operate custom designed equipment both in-house and customers facilities
- Diagnose and perform necessary repairs as required
- Train customer on operation of equipment
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
- Study, read, and understand schematics, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and related information
- To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specification QC.
- Understand the operation and controls of the customer specific equipment.
- Operate and train customers on the equipment
- Setup and install specific tooling to manufacture customer’s parts
- Identify areas of needed improvement on the equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair using standard and specialized tooling
- Travel up to 25%, worldwide
- Lift up to 50lbs

- Provide market feedback and advice
- Provide as-needed support for non-assigned product lines
- Initiate and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Occasionally participate in or support National, Regional, and local trade shows
- Perform other duties as assigned
