Purchasing Customer Service Coordinator

Description

Coordinate the company’s customer service and purchasing activities in a professional and timely manner. This position is a key role in the link between Gasbarre Tooling and its customers in regard to customer relationship development and communication. This position also plays a supporting role to Management, Inside Sales, Engineering, and the Manufacturing Floor.

Tasks

  • Communicate with customers on order processing as well as customer relationship development. 
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management 
  • Inventory Management 
  • Purchasing 
  • Cost Analysis exercises for continuous improvement and/or processing effectiveness as routed. (GP review) 
  • Work with Inside Sales on Suppliers and Subcontractor used, information or rate changes, and/or issues needing addressed. (Delivery issues, subcon change needed, updated costing, etc.) 
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for engineering and processing is available in the CO folder upon release of order. (Prints, Models, etc.) 
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications / Education

  • B.S. in related field or high school diploma with 2+ years in related experience.
  • Effective Communication (Written & Verbal)

  • Problem Solving 
  • This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, and sitting.
