Description

Responsible for managing the agency human resources by performing the following duties.

Tasks

  • Direct supervision and management of the daily functions of the department.
  • Attending community Human Resource meetings.
  • The timely preparation of reports as required by the Sr. VP of Human Resources or other Vice President's/Executive Directors.
  • The procurement of training funds from grants when available to assist in defraying training costs.
  • Maintenance of all personnel files in accordance with governmental regulations and Agency policy. Keeping personnel records of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations in accordance with governmental regulations and Agency policies. This includes the periodic review of personnel information of all staff to assure that all required information is on file.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field, PLUS 5 years' HR experience OR 3 years' HR experience and SHRM certification. OR
  • Master’s degree in business, human resources, or related field, PLUS 3 years' HR experience OR
  • 2 years' HR experience and SHRM certification.
