Description
Doing work on projects and repairs as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. Ensures the work is carried out in a safe and professional manner by performing the following duties.
Tasks
- Carrying out routine assignments on a regularly scheduled program of maintenance.
- Clearing the sidewalks and driveways of snow in winter.
- Routine repair, new construction, upkeep and maintenance of the facility buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment which may require carpentry, plumbing, electrical or mechanical skills.
- Lawn care and upkeep.
- Being aware of safety at all times by monitoring the buildings and grounds for potential hazards and bringing them to the attention of the management.
Qualifications / Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience or training preferred
