Description
Responsible for operating polishing tools to achieve desired surface finish.
Tasks
- Repairs and performs maintenance and modifications on existing powdered metal tooling as instructed
- Bring part to final dimensions through hand polishing and bench work.
- Fitting and assembly of tooling components.
- Intricate detailed handwork is an essential part of this job.
- Ability to work long periods with headset magnification is required.
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading and geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred.
Qualifications / Education
- HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Written and verbal communication
- Lifting a maximum of 25 pounds regularly. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, and sitting.
