Description
A series of learning and work experiences designed to assist new nursing graduates as they transition into their first professional nursing role. The experiences have an emphasis on the development of clinical and leadership skills for the nurse to become successful within our team. Responsible for collaboratively assisting the Residential RN, Treatment Team and Director of Nursing in the delivery of nursing care and overseeing all health concerns within the program by performing assigned duties.
Tasks
- Evaluate nursing activities to ensure patient care and safety.
- Documentation of important information and data in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicating necessary medial related information to all employees.
- Working as a member of a team including being supportive and friendly to employees, treating others with respect, keeping personal problems away from work, splitting duties equally amongst co-workers, assisting co-workers when requested and welcoming new employees, giving them extra support and encouragement.
- Attending and completing scheduled required annual training.
Qualifications / Education
- Graduate of accredited professional nursing program.
- Obtainment of RN license in the state of Pennsylvania within 6 months of hire is required.
- Completion of BSN program within six years of hire is preferred
