Description
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for industrial automation projects. Also assist in electrical assembly and support field technicians as well as onsite support.
Tasks
- Collaborate with engineers to design PLC/HMI systems per project requirements.
- evelop system architecture and specs aligned with project goals.
- Write and debug PLC code using ladder logic, structured text, and other languages.
- Design responsive, user-friendly HMI systems for operator use.
- Integrate PLC/HMI systems with industrial control devices and equipment.
Qualifications / Education
- High School degree and certifications as required with 10+ years of experience preferred with an electrical background.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
- Certification in PLC programming or related fields.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in industrial automation.
- Analytical and electrical aptitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word)
- Communication (written and verbal)
- Leadership Skills
