Description
The Electrical Assembly Lead Technician plays a crucial role within the Press & Automation assembly team, ensuring the safety and quality of all electrical assembly projects. This position oversees technicians to ensure efficient and safe work practices, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Tasks
- Mentor new techs on electrical work for capital projects, rebuilds, and maintenance.
- Oversee electrical work quality; provide corrective guidance to technicians.
- Identify training needs with Supervisor and support tech skill development.
- Support customer and field service; assist with installations as needed.
- Maintain flexibility and collaborate with customer service to meet demands.
- Attend design reviews to address issues before production starts.
- Ensure on-time project completion; set milestones and assign assembly tasks.
Qualifications / Education
This role primarily operates within the assembly building (Building #2) at Gasbarre Press and Automation in DuBois, PA. Occasional travel may be required to customer sites for field service or project installations.
