Medical Assistant Transportation Program Assistant (MATP)

Supports the Medical Assistance Transportation Program by ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, maintaining operating procedures, and validating program data and expenditures. This role assists in preparing reports, addressing consumer complaints, and recommending solutions to identified risks. Additionally, the MATP Assistant provides consumer services, trains staff, and contributes to meeting program requirements through proactive problem-solving and collaboration.

1.     Maintains understanding of and assists with the compliance of Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) internal and external regulations and requirements; implements and maintains MATP Operating Procedures.

2.    Reviews and validates MATP data, documents, and expenditures.

3.    Assists with the preparation of MATP reports and identifying and completing MATP requirements.

4.    Investigates and responds to MATP consumer complaints timely; documents corrective actions taken.

5.    Identifies and reports risks to supervisor; recommends solutions.

6.    Provides consumer services.

7.    Trains and assists staff.

A bachelor’s degree and one-year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
