Description

This role ensures adherence to program policies and procedures, manages operational processes, and validates data and expenditures. Responsibilities include preparing reports and documentation, providing consumer services, conducting outreach, and addressing complaints or fraud investigations. The position also involves supervising staff, ensuring vendor compliance, maintaining tracking systems, and contributing to risk management efforts.

Tasks

1.      Maintains understanding of and complies with Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) policies, standards, rules, regulations, priorities, procedures, and allowable costs.
2.     Reviews and validates MATP data, documents, and expenditures; ensures vendor contract compliance..
3.     Completes and/or assists with the preparation of MATP reports, proposals, agreements, contracts, budgets, correspondence, and policies and procedures.
4.     Provides MATP consumer services and conducts outreach activities.
5.     Reports suspicions of fraud or abuse to the Department of Public Welfare’s Bureau of Program Integrity and/or the Office of Inspector General. 
6.     Investigates and responds to MATP consumer complaints, appeals, and fraud investigations; documents corrective actions.
7.     Supervises staff; completes and documents personnel actions.

Qualifications / Education

Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
