Maintenance Supervisor

Provide the necessary maintenance on the facility, equipment in every department, and do maintenance and repairs as requested by staff and residents. This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing Federal and State regulations and established company policies and procedures.

• Provides preventive maintenance services on all major equipment, including boilers, pumps, laundry equipment, motors, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing and electrical systems;
• Completes emergency repairs at complex;
• Performs construction and renovation work for most small projects.
• Installs new equipment including ice machines, kitchen equipment, computer lines, etc;
• Performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, wallpapering, air conditioning, welding;
• Maintains company vehicles;
• Maintains emergency systems, including emergency generators, fire alarm systems, nurse call systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience preferred.
• Ability to use tools and equipment to repair and construct
• Knowledge and ability to work on plumbing systems, electrical systems, alarm systems, appliances, household and commercial stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, air conditioning and heating units; Ability to read and understand specifications, plans, corrections, and State and Federal standards and safety requirements.
