Perform various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring or the personal needs and comfort of residents under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.

• Supports and carries out all policies and procedures set forth by Administration.
• Treats all residents’ information as confidential.
• Reports to Charge Nurse for assignment.
• Observes resident condition and reports to the Charge Nurse as necessary. Keeps resident rooms, closet, and bedside stand clean and tidy.
• Labels/bags resident’s personal care items in the bedside stand. Understands and applies proper body mechanics. Pass fresh drinking water once each shift. Transport residents within facility using wheelchairs. When weather permitting, may take outside to the patio/main entrance.
• May assemble equipment and supplies for bathing and personal hygiene.
• Changes bed linen.
• Collects, bags, and throw down soiled linen.
• Distribute clean laundry to residents’ rooms.
• Direct visitors.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or verification of active pursuit of its equivalent is required.
• Sufficient education in order to perform daily tasks with an understanding of the duties involved
