Description
Responsible for the overall operation of the Mobile Medication Teams.
Tasks
- Document important info and data in a timely, professional manner.
- Complete initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop recovery-based treatment plans.
- Address physical health needs and consult with psychiatrist for appropriate referrals.
- Administer IM medications as prescribed, following nursing scope of practice.
- Monitor self-administration of meds; consult team to plan transitions to traditional services.
Qualifications / Education
- Current unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License.
- Minimum of three years nursing experience, with a minimum of one year psychiatric nursing experience serving seriously mentally ill adults strongly preferred.
