Description
Responsible for the direct supervision of assigned employees. This position will provide billable expectations as requested and/or needed for the program by performing the following duties.
Tasks
- Attend individual, team, and supervisory meetings with the Program Director.
- Ensure staff submit timely documentation per program standards, including ISPs and progress notes.
- Complete 18 annual training hours (12 recovery-focused) and track peer staff training requirements.
- Model professionalism in appearance, actions, and communication for staff and individuals served.
- Assist with consumer surveys and participate in Quality Assurance meetings as required.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or a related field from a program that is accredited by an agency recognized by the USDOE or the CHEA, or
- Equivalent degree from a foreign college or university approved by the USDOE with two years of mental health direct service experience that may include PSS and completion of the Certified Peer Support Supervisory training; or
- High school diploma or GED with four years of mental health direct service experience that may include Peer Support Service; and completion of the Certified Peer Support Supervisory training.
- Working towards advanced training in at least one of the Certified Peer Support specific models (Forensics, Older Adults, Substance Use, etc.)
