Description
Responsible for utilizing a team approach in providing individual, family, and group therapy, while allowing for the delivery of services in a more flexible manner across settings (home, school, community). This position includes both clinical and administrative functions. The professionals responsibilities include: facilitating individual/group/family work, providing the clinical oversight of a caseload, direct supervision and management of the Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT), providing supervision and observation of BHT per state regulations, participation in on call rotation, collaboration and consultation with treatment team members, preparing for and attending weekly meetings, gaining authorization from funding sources, completion of intakes and assessments, completion of daily documentation, and meeting productivity requirements.
Tasks
- Document info and data promptly and professionally per program director’s guidance.
- Attend and complete all scheduled required annual training.
- Take part in treatment planning, including leading monthly treatment meetings.
- Attend at least four hours of weekly clinical supervision with the Team Consultant.
- Join individual and group supervision sessions with the Clinical Director.
Qualifications / Education
- Master trained, License Eligible or Licensed in this Commonwealth as a Social Worker, psychologist, professional counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker; with two years' experience in a CASSP systems program; or
- Certification as a National Board Certified counselor.
- Additional education/experience would qualify if in accordance with the current state regulations.
- Management experience required.
