Medication Technician

Responsible for care of assigned clients under the direct supervision of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff.

• Providing in-home and/or follow up support to clients under the direction of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff.
• Carry out treatment plan interventions using recovery tools to address physical and behavioral needs.
• Report client health needs to nursing staff and coordinate referrals to primary care as directed.
• Know prescribed and psychotropic meds, side effects, and administration times for each client.
• Maintaining current knowledge of all medications use by clients for physical health issues.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience serving seriously mentally ill adults; candidates with mental health recovery experience strongly preferred.
