Manager of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Description

Responsible for the day to day management and clinical oversight of the assigned counties, community and school based functions of the program/agency by performing the following duties. The IBHS Clinical Director could also serve as the IBHS Administrative Director.

Tasks

  • Documentation of important information and data in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attending and completing scheduled required annual training.
  • Developing and monitoring quality initiatives in his/her department.
  • Being aware of the Agency's operating budget and function within its limits.
  • Participate in case conferences and provide suggestions and recommendations for treatment planning.

Qualifications / Education

  • Minimum of 1 year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults Licensed in this Commonwealth as one (1) of the following:
  • Physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification or clinical social worker
  • Behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
  • Social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
  • Professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
