Description

Responsible for working with consumers age 14+ via the Common Ground Software to empower consumers and provide them the tools to have an active voice in their recovery. Responsibilities include providing recovery oriented peer support, assisting the consumer in identifying Personal Medicine, writing power statements, completion of the Common Ground report and using Decision Aid Worksheets.

Tasks

  • Model and promote a culture of respect, cooperation, and service excellence.
  • Use Common Ground Software to help individuals create Personal Medicine and Wellness Tools.
  • Complete reports, schedules, and documentation in the EHR in a timely manner.
  • Manage time effectively by preparing daily schedules and monitoring consumer schedules.
  • Foster a recovery-focused, nonjudgmental environment for all individuals.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as self-identified peer with personal mental health experience.
  • Certifications, licenses, and other requirement
  • Must have the ability to obtain agency-required clearances for criminal record check, child abuse, and working with children.
  • Complete and be trained on CommonGround software.
  • Must have a lived mental health experience.
