Behavioral Specialist

Description

Responsible for conducting assessments; developing and monitoring treatment/behavior plans; and, providing clinical expertise, supervision, and guidance to the staff providing service to the individuals enrolled in this community-based program.

Tasks

  • Apply experience, current knowledge, and best practices to help clients select effective treatment strategies.
  • Use counseling techniques aligned with client goals, interests, and preferences.
  • Collaborate regularly with Dual program staff and physicians to ensure high-quality services.
  • Model and teach clients how to actively engage in their recovery; maintain relevant certification or licensure.

Qualifications / Education

  • Licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania; or
  • Master's degree (or higher) clinician with ID and MH experience; non-licensed clinician must have increased direct supervision by a licensed professional and must be actively working toward licensure
