Description

The Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) designs an individual plan to develop skills that give a child or adolescent the opportunity for learning and growing. The Behavior Specialist is also responsible for assessment, program design, and monitoring the plan by performing the following duties.

Tasks

  • Document important information in the EMR in a timely, professional manner per program director guidance.
  • Knowing and operating within the framework of the Treatment Plan.
  • Participating in individual and group clinical supervision with IBHS Clinical Director.
  • Receive 30 minutes of on sight supervision every six months by the Clinical Director.
  • Preparing for ISPT/Coordination meetings and making appropriate recommendations with regard to treatment.

Qualifications / Education

  • Master's degree in a Human Service related field required.
  • Prior experience preferred.
