Description
The Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) designs an individual plan to develop skills that give a child or adolescent the opportunity for learning and growing. The Behavior Specialist is also responsible for assessment, program design, and monitoring the plan by performing the following duties.
Tasks
- Document important information in the EMR in a timely, professional manner per program director guidance.
- Knowing and operating within the framework of the Treatment Plan.
- Participating in individual and group clinical supervision with IBHS Clinical Director.
- Receive 30 minutes of on sight supervision every six months by the Clinical Director.
- Preparing for ISPT/Coordination meetings and making appropriate recommendations with regard to treatment.
Qualifications / Education
- Master's degree in a Human Service related field required.
- Prior experience preferred.
