Description

Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and physical management of the facility, residents, and equipment in such a manner that the purpose of the facility will be established and maintained in accordance with established policies.

Tasks

  • Ensures high-quality resident services and maintains compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Prepares program for inspections via audits of policies, records, and environmental standards.
  • Maintains targeted occupancy levels and drives consumer satisfaction through feedback and solutions.
  • Coordinates all aspects of consumer services for measurable program improvements.
  • Prepares and manages annual budget while monitoring cost controls and promoting problem-solving.
  • Establishes facility procedures compliant with laws on resident care, safety, personnel, and property.
  • Supervises hiring, training, evaluation of staff; reviews personnel policies and employee performance.

Qualifications / Education

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or university; or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university; or
  • Current Pennsylvania RN license; or
  • Licensed practical nurse from the Department of State and one year of work experience in a related field; or,
  • Licensed as a nursing home administrator from the Department of State.
  • Current PA Personal Care license is required.
  • Employee must be in good standing with the state.
  • EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to personal care facilities; knowledge of current standards of practice for personal care facilities; knowledge of personnel administration.
