Description

Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies for our employment population focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement. The role is responsible for partnering with business leaders with data-driven recommendations that improve engagement, culture, performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Tasks

  • Drives overall implementation of plans and strategies, continually monitors effectiveness for the HR function. 
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functions. 
  • Provide executive coaching and development to senior leaders. 
  • Drive an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces the culture and behaviors. 
  • Develop and implement measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs. 
  • Provide coaching and consultation on ER issues. 
  • Drives organization wide talent planning initiatives including profiling, assessment, calibration, development planning and succession planning. 
  • Support and facilitate division and plant specific guidelines/procedures. 
  • Perform internal Hourly recruitment and participate in interview and selection process to identify final candidates. 
  • Application/implementation of people and cultural strategies to address legislative/external trends at the state/local level. 
  • Coach/prepare managers on performance management. 
  • Onboarding experience/process execution. 

Qualifications / Education

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business (MBA) is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience leading and mentoring direct reports.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork at all levels of an organization. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing recruitment strategy and effectively recruiting/staffing. 
  • Familiarity/experience in compensation administration. 
  • Experience candidate selection for multiple levels within an organization.
  • Experience interpreting, implementing, and applying employment law and coordinating FMLA administration.
  • Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) systems on report generation and data analysis.
  • Experience in identifying and leading Human Resources function process improvements to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport/relationships with employees and foster teamwork at all levels.
  • Skilled in delivering and facilitating training to a variety of levels with the organization.
  • Experience in facilitating and leading cross functional teams to deliver goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in the basic features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel).
