Description
Responsible for the overall operations of the Division including sales, engineering, manufacturing and service functions. The ability to plan, organize and control products, employees and processes is required. Key performance metrics are sales, net profits, on-time delivery, quality and customer satisfaction.
Tasks
- Responsible for Division sales, products, employees and profits.
- Lead and drive the sales function.
- Leads the project management function.
- Assumes leadership role with customers.
- Forecasts personnel and materials schedules.
- Evaluates staff performance.
- Works with Production Manager to meet division level shipment goals, on time delivery and gross profits.
- Implements specific manufacturing procedures for the Division to ensure the continued effectiveness of the company’s daily operations.
- Provides for a safe working environment.
- Holds meetings with key staff members and Corporate managers regarding operations and sales.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field required with 5+ years of senior management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong Communication Skills – written and verbal
- Strong Engineering, Science and Math Skills
- Proficient with Computer and Software Applications
- Strong Business, Finance and Management Principles
