Fabrication Supervisor

Responsible for adhering to Fabrication Department schedule for flow of product through shop floor. Assist in product routing as required for optimum efficiency. Supervises a team of Fabricators.

• Supervises all Fabrication Department employees and related work for welding, sheet metal, bending, etc.
• Workflow output to meet fabrication schedules
• Responsible for ongoing training
• Responsible for the safety of entire department
• Provides leadership and direction including coordination between shifts and overtime as required.
• Responsible for department quality.
• Responsible for fab equipment maintenance.
• Handles employee evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Determine equipment and supplies required
• Manage cost reduction efforts

• High school diploma required and or GED. Should have formal schooling from a college or trade school with a relevance to all aspects and types welding and fabrication. Must have 7+ years of experience.
• Welding and Fabrication Skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Supervising ability
• Communication-written and verbal
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds regularly. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting and squatting.
