Description
Lead the engineering team to improve engineering activities and project performance. Project performance is defined as on time project releases, on budget projects, and meets required specifications. All activities are done in a way that represents Gasbarre Products in a professional manner.
Tasks
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to the engineering department when and where required.
- Conduct periodic project reviews with the engineering team to support project goals.
- Support task scheduling and project prioritization.
- Communicate departmental information to department managers as needed.
- Develop and maintain engineering process standards.
- Develop and maintain engineering equipment standards.
- Support sales activities when and where necessary.
- Capital project estimating and quoting.
- Any other duties as detailed by the Division President
Qualifications / Education
- Preferred technical degree in engineering with related experience.
- Communication
- Organization
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
- MS Office Products (MS Word, MS Excel; others are a plus)
- Some travel locally and within the US required
- This job requires equal amounts of sitting, walking, standing, minimal lifting and other physical activities.
