Electrical Assembly Supervisor

Description
Performs supervisor assignments as necessary for all Electricians.
Tasks
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and effective work environment
- Must be able to keep all scheduled work flow on time and complete in the most cost-effective manner.
- Responsible for overall on-time project completion
- Communicate daily with updates on progress of job completions,
- Review, evaluate and report any unsafe work environments and equipment related issues
- Responsible for effective scheduling of all manpower to meet production demands
- Work with the other departments to resolve issues related to production of equipment and improve product cost and function.
- Responsible for performance evaluations and any disciplinary issues
- Maintaining safe working environment relating to all electrical aspects (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, etc.)
Qualifications / Education
- High school degree and certifications as required with 10+ years of experience preferred with an electrical background. Familiarity with electrical systems, tools, codes, equipment, and safety procedures. Previous supervisor experience preferred but not required.
- Analytical and electrical aptitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word)
- Communication (written and verbal)
- Leadership Skills
- Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds regularly. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, and sitting.
