Debarker Operator

The Stacker Operator operates the stacker to create stacks of lumber according to specifications.
Clean-Up
The Cleanup Laborer is an entry level position introducing the employee to the basic components of a sawmill.
Bridge Crane Operator
The Bridge Crane Operator operates an overhead crane to move lumber packs from racks to outfeed lumber decks.
Resaw Operator
The Resaw Operator operates the resaw to reduce the thickness of lumber to specific lumber dimensions.
Chipper Operator
The Chipper Operator operates the chipper and keeps the surrounding area clean.
Tipple Edger OP Grader
The Edger Tipple Operator manages the production flow of lumber, blocking, ties, and timbers from the outfeed of the TMT Edger to the lumber grading deck. This individual is also responsible for grading ties and timbers and returning product that does not meet specifications back to the resaw sort station.
Shims Sort
The Shim Sort Operator manages the production flow of the lumber from the outfeed of the TMT Edger to the Edger Tipple Station.
Operator Relief I
The Relief Operator serves as a backup operator for all equipment within the sawmill.
Sort Station Operator
The Sort Station Operator directs boards and cants to the resaw or gang edger.
Gang Edger Operator
The Gang Edger Operator operates the Gang Edger to produce lumber and cants while maximizing grade and recovery.
Proficient Operator Lift
The Forklift Operator operates the forklift in a safe and productive manner while minimizing damage to the lumber product.
P OP C Frame
The C Frame Operator operates the C Frame to produce two-sided cants for the gang saw while maximizing yield.
Bin Chaser
The Bin Chaser operates the sorter and oversees the bins.
Lumber Inspector Grading
The Lumber Inspector applies the requisite grading rules of the NHLA to identify grades of lumber.
Vacation Relief Lead
The Vacation Relief Lead serves as a backup operator for all equipment within the sawmill and planer and as backup for the boiler, dry kilns, shipping, and grading.
Sawmill Supervisor
The Sawmill Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of the log yard and sawmill while promoting safety, quality, productivity, recovery, and employee development.
