Restorative Aide

Responsible for assisting residents to meet their highest level of independence with activities of daily living.  Pinecrest Manor has been providing 24-hour nursing care since 1970 in a 138 bed skilled facility located on the campus of Penn Highlands Elk.  We provide round-the-clock coverage and offer personalized attention to each resident in our home-like atmosphere.  

Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.  You'll work within the scope of the established treatment plan to improve and restore patient function.

Physical Therapist

Evaluate through specialty tests and develop a plan of treatment for the patient upon referral and/or consult with physician and give recommendations as to the type of treatment, which is indicated per patient diagnosis. Perform treatment procedures following prescribed methods and observes treatment effect; recommends change to physician if indicated. Maintains current records pertinent to patient treatment, recording treatment effect, patient's progress and discharge summary on depart record.

Occupational Therapist

Use occupational therapy assessment and evaluation techniques to determine the patient's assets and limitations, establish goals, and plan age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment in coloration with the patient/family and treatment team members.

Physical Therapist

Evaluate through specialty tests and develop a plan of treatment for the patient upon referral and/or consult with physician and give recommendations as to the type of treatment, which is indicated per patient diagnosis. Perform treatment procedures following prescribed methods and observes treatment effect; recommends change to physician if indicated. Speech Therapist

Specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of speech and language problems, and engage in the scientific study of human communication, in effort to improve the patient's quality of life.
