Description

Responsible for the clinical management of the Dual Outpatient programs., inclusive of Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient Drug and Alcohol programming, Erie Prison D/A program, Partial Hospitalization program, CROMISA project, and the Certified Recovery Specialist program. The incumbent is responsible for supervision and mentoring of clinical staff who provide therapeutic services to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and support staff who contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the program. The incumbent will also provide quality group and individual therapy to clients seeking dual diagnosis services. Other responsibilities: chart monitoring for clinical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements; facilitation of continuous quality improvement efforts; and, ongoing program development that promotes recovery for all individuals served.

Tasks

  • Manages staff and program operations aligned with mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Creates and monitors agendas for program development; resolves conflicts fairly and objectively.
  • Provides clinical leadership using mental health system knowledge and best practice guidelines.
  • Models and teaches staff to support clients as active participants in their recovery journey.
  • Recruits and retains diverse, qualified staff; provides training, supervision, and professional growth.
  • Conducts BDAP-approved biopsychosocial intake and monitors client mental status and medication.
  • Facilitates therapeutic groups and individual sessions using tailored approaches and recovery tools.

Qualifications / Education

  • Masters level degree in a course of study related to the field of responsibility and at least three (3) years experience;, or,
  • Bachelor's degree in a course of study related to the field with at least five (5) years of experience or equivalent education and experience as determined by agency standards and guidelines of position
  • Must have valid Pennsylvania licensure or Pennsylvania Certification Board credentials, including LPC, LCSW, LSW, CAAC, CADC, CAADC, or CSS or be able to acquire license or credentials within two (2) years of hire
