Description
Responsible for the general oversight of the individuals' admission, treatment follow-through, and discharge. Is the primary liaison between the agency and the families, schools, placing agencies and other involved providers. This position has clinical oversight of the assigned programs.
Tasks
- May be required to participate in the on-call system which includes handling emergency situations. Completion of the initial assessments
- Develop and monitoring of behavior intervention plans; in conjunction with the program director to assure compliance with 5320.43(b)
- Clinical supervision on a weekly basis to include: case reviews for continued treatment planning and integration of service delivery
- Participation in all team meetings and consultations as needed
Qualifications / Education
- The CSRU Clinical Director must be a psychologist licensed in the state of Pennsylvania or be a licensed master’s level therapist who holds one of the following licenses in the state of Pennsylvania: LPC, LCSW or LSW. Must demonstrate comprehension (preferably certification) in one of the established behavior modification techniques (ABA, FBA). The Clinical Director will be able to demonstrate they have prior knowledge and experience working with individuals with ID; working with individuals with a serious mental illness and intellectual/developmental disabilities and providing clinical supervision to clinical and non- clinical staff in the CSRU.
