Description

Assist in the planning, organizing, and providing practice management services to the identified physician practices.  Coordinate the practice activities of clinical and non-clinical staff within the practice and oversee daily operations.  Act as a liaison for the practice staff with operational oversight to the Practice Management department and assist in the marketing and market growth of all physician practices.

Tasks

  • Oversee the daily operations of the service line.
  • Coordinate patient care, ensure staff are appropriately assigned, and maintain smooth workflows.
  • Ensure staff members are properly trained, motivated, and aligned with the service line’s goals.
  • Implement quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and service performance.

Qualifications / Education

  • Associates degree in appropriate field with 5 years of experience working in a physician environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have knowledge of physician office procedures, CPT-4, and ICD-9 coding and proper medical record documentation
  • Wide range of knowledge in billing, charging and reimbursement guidelines for acceptable payors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Advanced computer skills
  • CPR training within the first year of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory (lead) role preferred
