Outpatient Psychotherapist

Description

Provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral health care to a variety of persons using the established standards of care within their scope of knowledge and practice.

Tasks

  • Provide therapy sessions to address mental health issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges.
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of patients.
  • Create personalized treatment plans for patients that outline specific therapeutic goals, interventions, and measurable progress.
  • Offer immediate support to patients experiencing a mental health crisis.

Qualifications / Education

  • Minimum of Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field or Master's prepared Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Master's prepared Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Three years experience in outpatient counseling practice preferred
  • Current Pennsylvania Professional License required
