Description

Provide psycho-therapeutic services to an assigned patient population using the established standards of care within his/her scope of practice.

Tasks

  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients.
  • Offer individual, group, or family therapy sessions to patients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals, interventions, and progress measures.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications / Education

  • Masters degree in social work, counseling, or clinical psychology
  • Experience in group and individual therapy required
  • Experience in developing treatment plans required
  • Experience in family and marital therapy preferred or must obtain within 12 months of start date in department/position
  • Healthcare provider (CPR) certification within 6 months and Comprehensive Crisis Management certification within 12 months of start date in position/department
