Medical Assistant Scribe

Description

Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the office. He/she will be required to coordinate the care with other PH DuBois services, or outside health care providers. The Medical Assistant will serve as a liaison between the physician, the mid-level provider and all other health care providers.

Tasks

  • Accurately transcribe the healthcare provider’s notes during patient visits.
  • Update and maintain patient records in the system.
  • Help streamline the clinical process by managing documentation.
  • Document and track lab test results, diagnostic imaging, and any follow-up instructions or referrals.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two years experience in a Physician Office preferred
  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification within the first year of hire
  • Medical Assistant Certification through NCCT or NHA
