Dosimetrist

Responsible for all of the technical operations in Dosimetry for the Radiation Oncology Department, including simulation, dosimetry and treatment planning.

• Collaborate with the radiation oncologist to design and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform dose calculations to ensure accurate radiation delivery.
• Ensure that radiation therapy equipment is properly calibrated and ready for patient treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and treatment responses.

• Registered in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Two years functioning as a Radiation Therapist
• Certification in Medical Dosimetry OR obtained within two years of start date
