Clinical Coordinator

Description

Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the office. You will be required to coordinate the care with other with other Penn Highlands DuBois services, or outside health care providers. The Clinical Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the Physician, the Mid-Level Provider and all other health care providers. You will also assist in coordination of clinical schedules.

Tasks

  • Coordinate patient scheduling to optimize appointment times and minimize wait times.
  • Supervise and support clinical staff.
  • Monitor and ensure that clinical operations follow healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to create and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current LPN Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Two years experience in an office setting and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association within first year of hire
  • Knowledge in regulatory requirements of third party payors such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Shield
